I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

@Schimi1791 Is the slope large? We combined Lonicera Pileata with some pruning-tolerant shrubs because we didn’t want it to look too uniform. It works well ;-)

The wood chips keep sliding down on us. We are considering whether ground cover plants could help stabilize them.
We are also thinking about creating small terraces using stone slabs.

I would suggest creating a beautiful rock garden. Cover part of it with the creeping spindle you mentioned—it grows like weeds here but can also be easily trimmed if desired. It comes in different colors and is affordable. Then design another area with various sizes of stones, adding lots of different plants in between. If you like, you could also include a section with cacti; there are also frost-resistant varieties.
