I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Seriously though, you inland regions with mountains in winter are a bit enviable. Here, it’s clouds, rain, sleet, wind, always just above 0°C (32°F). Damp and cold.
But it will be over soon. Just four more weeks, and then spring will arrive. Its clear blue sky is already showing sometimes; yesterday there was sun, and it stays light until 5:00 PM at 1700m (5600 ft), with twilight until 5:30 PM.

Here in the Sauerland region, we currently have snow as well. But—probably for the first time since I was born—I am eagerly looking forward to spring! And the longer days are always very welcome...

Well, keep in mind that we are allowed to shovel. One of my snow piles from this morning. In the meantime, shoveled 3 more times.
