I had also thought about growing kiwis. Do they survive the winter? Here, we sometimes still have temperatures down to -10°C (14°F) or even lower.

But they really need a lot of sun to thrive. Then they grow like weeds.

Did they have flowers? I can’t recall. They had large leaves that fell off at the first frost, which I found terrible. That typical foliage that drops off messily.How is the plant you're looking for supposed to climb? Along a wall using aerial roots or should it wrap around wires or a trellis?
