I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

I am only familiar with the tools used for burning out joints. They don’t reach deep enough to kill the root. In a flower bed, the heat needs to be very precisely targeted. I simply have doubts about that.
I would go with weeding and mulching.

The water lilies are blooming. Perfect hiding spots for the frogs.

You can also simply let them drift.

And it seems that our new housemate is also quite comfortable.

Taking another look at the garden today... It still looks quite open, but everything will fill in over the summer 🙂

Great view, and I really like the combination of vegetable and ornamental garden.

I think I’ve hijacked this topic.. 😉

Today, my tomato plants were finally able to move back to their summer residence… with good soil and fresh fish scraps. I started the seedlings on March 10. Next year, I’ll start the seedlings two weeks later—that’s more than enough!

Here are a few pictures of the garden. By the way, the garden is four years old! Everything was planted by myself. Many plants I brought as small seedlings from our previous garden and propagated them repeatedly by division. It’s so easy and saves a lot of money. I fill empty spots temporarily with annuals like marigolds, petunias, calendulas, and nasturtiums… I just throw the seeds in… works great. This year, I started the petunias and marigolds early, so they’re already starting to bloom.
Really a beautiful overall composition; I also like your house.
