I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Tree protection regulations have been overturned in many municipalities. And if a tree happens to die, it can be cut down anyway...

Are there places where there are no tree protection regulations?

Here, you need a permit to cut down trees if the circumference at 130 cm (4 feet 3 inches) height is 45 cm (18 inches) or more. That's just over 14 cm (5.5 inches) in diameter, so these are not very large trees.

Yes, they still exist. For now.
But where they do exist, they are not always enforced. Usually only when a spiteful/attentive (choose as appropriate) neighbor reports it.

Or if you simply apply for the tree removal. That was no problem for us. That way, I don’t have to argue with neighbors.
