I would like to start a new comparison thread and learn about your energy consumption. I am not completely satisfied with mine.

I now have my first personal energy consumption data. In my house from 1983, with mostly uninsulated roof, I used 900 kWh for heating and hot water from October 30 to November 30.

There was a typo. It’s actually 23-24 degrees.

What surprises me a bit are the low hot water temperatures some have. How, for example, do 43°C (109°F) temperatures align with comfort (e.g., washing dishes in the sink) and the issue of Legionella bacteria?

Legionella: Lower temperature = shorter water stagnation time in the tank because less cold water is mixed in.

Kitchen: Dishwasher. The water could be warmer there when washing. For convenience, an on-demand water heater in the kitchen could be considered.

For comfort, one could consider an instantaneous water heater in the kitchen.

Just like the fan heater in the bathroom suggested in another thread?
Sorry, but that makes me shake my head...

We also have a dishwasher, but we still often wash dishes by hand in the sink, usually my wife. This is especially the case for large pots and pans, for example.
