Hello

We are currently in the planning phase of our house, and the first drafts are ready. I would like to share them with you to see if you might have any ideas or suggestions.

Two-story house with a pitched roof; west and east views with windows.

Two-story house with a flat roof; front and garden side with many windows (north/south).

Upper floor plan: two children’s rooms, bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, hallway, open space, overview.

Ground floor plan: kitchen/dining/living with dining table and sofa; study; hallway; storage room; shower toilet.

Also keep in mind: a sliding door requires a wall to slide into... nothing else can be inside that wall. For example, in our case, the ventilation system and the chimney were in the way...

What do you mean by walk-through room?
For me, it’s more like the room for my wife and me. I only go to the bathroom when getting ready, which is usually when I get up in the morning or go to bed at night.
When I wake up, I get ready in the bathroom and then go downstairs to have my coffee.

Or what solution do you have in mind?

PS: The wall in the dressing room will be extended all the way to the window.

Usually, the layout is bed - dressing room - bathroom - dressing room - hallway.

In your case, it is bed - dressing room - bed - bathroom - bed - hallway.

Option 1: The other person can sleep no matter how often you go to the closet.
Option 2: One sneaks around and still wakes the other up.
