Hello everyone,
we keep running into questions about the size of the bedroom and the walk-in closet during our planning. Somehow, we are still not completely satisfied with the size of the bedroom. We are worried it might end up too small. On the other hand, we don’t spend most of our time there. It should feel a bit more spacious than it does now (10.5m² (113 sq ft)).
We are considering moving the walk-in closet wall a bit further north to create more space between the bed and the wall. How have you solved this in your homes? How large are your bedrooms? Do you also have a walk-in closet, or have you found other clever solutions?
By the way, we intentionally placed the walk-in closet on the north side because there is a street running along there, so it keeps us a bit further away.
I am grateful for any ideas

Somehow, the whole area isn’t working. The structural opening measures 261cm (103 inches) for the bed, and then there’s something along the wall at the bottom of the plan. That only leaves 20cm (8 inches) to squeeze through.
Is there a 2m (6 ft 7 in) line in the dressing area, or is it a full story?
And yes, I have to agree with Yvonne—please upload the entire upper floor plan. Everything should still be changeable, right?

Everything is indeed too tight.
We had a structural opening of 2.35m (7 ft 9 in) wall distance in the walk-in closet. With wardrobe cabinets on both sides, each 60cm (24 inches) deep, there is now a little over 1m (39 inches) remaining between the rows of cabinets. That fits well. It certainly couldn't have been much less.
It looks like this now:

Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo from another angle at the moment.

Are you planning with Ytong? The style of the markings looks familiar to me.
I also find the entire area too small.
Dressing room: A wardrobe with sliding doors has a depth of 65 cm (26 inches), so two wardrobes would be 1.30 meters (51 inches) deep. That leaves only 60 cm (24 inches) for the walking space. A wardrobe without doors is 60 cm (24 inches) deep, which would leave 70 cm (28 inches) for passage. I would recommend a passage width of 1.00 meter (39 inches) in the dressing room so that two people can comfortably pass each other and you’re not standing right in front of the wardrobe when taking out clothes.
Bedroom: A standard mattress is 2 meters (79 inches) long. With the bed frame, you should allow 2.10 - 2.20 meters (83 - 87 inches). With a room length of 2.60 meters (102 inches), there is only 40 cm (16 inches) left for walking space.

We want to plan exactly like you, meaning wardrobes with sliding doors and a window at the end of the room. I would be very, very grateful if you could upload a few more pictures, especially ones where both wardrobes are visible. We are hesitating between a rough construction width of 2.40 - 2.60 meters (94 - 102 inches).
