ᐅ Planning kitchen appliances: How to approach it. The market is overwhelming.

Hello everyone,
I have an appointment at the kitchen studio next Saturday and I’m preparing for it. Specifically, I’m looking for the appliances I want to have later in the kitchen. I’ve been researching a lot from brands like Neff / Siemens, Miele, Bora, etc., but I’m not making much progress.
For example, the current selection at Siemens looks like this:
Dishwasher IQ300 SN636X03MD
Oven IQ700 HB634GBS1
Microwave IQ500 HF15M264
Cooktop with integrated downdraft extractor EX801LX34E
or
2 x Cooktop IQ700 EX375FXB1E with extractor IQ700 LF16VA570
(The cooktop with integrated downdraft is the only fixed requirement, unfortunately I don’t have any influence on that ^^)
I actually value quality, energy efficiency, and a balanced price-performance ratio. But how can I find out if what you pick is really good? Or if there are possibly cheaper but equally high-quality products from other manufacturers. For example, the cooktop with integrated downdraft extractor from Miele—according to the catalog, it’s cheaper but just as good or even better?
How do you approach this?

I like to use them as a comparison to Ikea when Ikea should come off well
I partly financed my studies as a kitchen installer, so I know a few kitchens. There is a huge difference in quality between Nobilia and IKEA. After Nobilia, there are the well-known budget kitchens like pino, wellmann, or impuls, and then comes IKEA.

Knallkörper16 Sep 2017 16:40As mentioned, they are identical in construction. I don’t rely on hearsay. I could now also weigh both "variants" on a postal scale, but my experience is that facts are not of interest to you. The claim that Nobilia is much better than Ikea is simply an assertion that cannot be proven when excluding the electrical appliances from the comparison.
Nobilia 3.0
IKEA 1.9
The ranking ranges from 4.1 to 1.6. IKEA is therefore close to the bottom, while Nobilia represents a solid mid-range option.
The previously mentioned Leicht scores 3.6, clearly better than Nobilia, Schmidt, Häcker Classic/classicArt, and others.
(Electrical appliances play no role here.)
Blum hinges:
No, these are not identical products; otherwise, there would be no separate production line. In terms of quality, they are one level below Impuls, Pino, Wellmann, and similar brands.

Which is not true… yawn.

@Grym ... you are quoting and explaining things out of context.
One criterion in the ranking is, for example, flexibility in cabinet widths – Ikea scores poorly here and loses points.
For a proper comparison, you really need to look at two manufacturers side by side. In that case, a manufacturer with 1.9 points can be better than one with 3.1 points if the points that matter to you are fulfilled by that manufacturer.
Regarding Blum, yes, there is a separate series, but it is not specifically limited to Ikea. And your ranking in relation to Nobilia, Pino, etc., does not simply apply across the board and varies between manufacturers depending on the product line. Especially since Pino and Wellmann are probably no longer relevant due to the Alno insolvency.
