About four weeks ago, we started considering buying an IKEA kitchen.
The measurements were taken, and the planning was done at the Swedish house with the help of very friendly staff.
Unfortunately, the kitchen still cannot be ordered because the software interface between the countertop program and the order processing system is not working. We have been waiting for about 8 days for a message that the software issue has been fixed.
According to an employee, this problem affects the whole country. That means no complete orders can be accepted.
Strange, isn’t it??? I would of course like to take advantage of the 10% discount for Family Card holders. But the kitchen has to be paid for by 15.09, which of course is not possible without an order.
Has anyone heard about this problem?

All is well! I was at IKEA. The kitchen had actually already been ordered. Well, I had one change to make. A very friendly consultant handled it without any complaints, and the 10% promotional discount was also noted on the order. So I would have still received it upon delivery. Perfect! Now it just needs to be delivered and assembled. If everything goes as planned, I’ll be very relieved. The delivery and installation date is scheduled for October 15th/16th. Please keep your fingers crossed that everything works out and the kitchen turns out just as I imagine. I’ll update you, of course, if there’s any news.

It’s done!
My kitchen was delivered and installed on October 17 and 18. The installation was carried out flawlessly. Minor delivery issues (wrong side panel, etc.) were promptly resolved by courier (taxi).
What can I say? The kitchen turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined. Choosing to buy the kitchen from IKEA was the right decision! Once the kitchen backsplash arrives and is installed, I will take photos and share them here.

Nice attention to symmetry, not too many different sizes. The glass doors add a great touch, and they fit perfectly on the island. Combined with the countertop and the aluminum edge – fantastic – overall elegant and well done!
