As far as I know, there are no BSH dishwashers that are 45cm (18 inches) wide with a variable hinge. You linked to the folding hinge, which requires the front panel to be split. There are a few pictures for clarification in the Amazon reviews for this hinge and its Siemens equivalent.

thank you very much for the quick response, IKEA friend. I will probably have to adjust the plan a bit. If the redesign works out, I am currently leaning towards the Siemens SX76P030EU, which is listed, among others, here in the collection thread.
Best regards,
Carni

In this thread, someone successfully installed the Siemens SN65P082 (also a BSH appliance without a Vario hinge) into a Metod kitchen using the "Stefans method" with an 80cm (31.5 inches) front panel.

You can see in the thread that it just fits at the plinth, so you need to position the appliance precisely and carefully consider how to align the drilling template, and so on.
Since the Bosch SPV50E90 is also made in the Bosch-Siemens home appliance factory and the installation dimensions on the sketch are exactly the same as for the Siemens SN65P082—except for the width difference of 448mm (17.6 inches) vs. 598mm (23.5 inches)—you will probably be able to install the Bosch SPV50E90 in the same way. I can’t guarantee it 100%, but the installation diagram is quite clear, and I assume the cabinet structure (swing range, plinth recess, etc.) is exactly the same, so you can refer to the pictures in the mentioned thread. When in doubt, order from a retailer that allows returns.
If you want to avoid too much modification (such as a spacer made from particleboard about 5cm (2 inches) thick directly under the countertop), I would recommend the Ikea Medelstor (Electrolux appliance), which should be a reliable choice.
