I have a problem with the planning of my Faktum kitchen. Unfortunately, my room height is only 195cm (77 inches). My question is, is it possible to shorten a Metod tall cabinet (e.g., FA 507) without any issues? Do you need special tools for that?
I have a saw and a drill, I’m not a professional, but I’m reasonably handy.
Thanks & best regards

so, FAKTUM or METOD now?
In general, shortening a cabinet box is not a problem. You will need a 15 mm (0.6 inch) Forstner bit for the cam locks.

so, what now, FAKTUM or METOD?
In general, shortening a cabinet carcass is not a problem. You will need a 15 mm (5/8 inch) Forstner bit for the cam connectors. Great, thanks!
Then I have another question. I have a 10 cm (4 inch) gap at the back because there are water pipes fixed to the wall. Can I also cut the side panels?
For example, use 2 side panels and cut each one?
