Actually, the Faktum repurchase service was originally supposed to run only until March 31, 2016. Now, we are almost a year further ahead. Is the Faktum repurchase service now permanent, or is there a new deadline?

The reorder page now says: "Act quickly! Faktum reorders only available until 1.2.2017."

Does the FAKTUM kitchen have the same long warranty as Metod? What do I do if a cabinet door breaks after 15 years and there are no replacements available?

The rumor persists, but there has never been—and still isn’t—a repurchase guarantee for either Faktum or Metod.
There is a repurchase service, which is a significantly different matter.

It wasn’t about a repurchase guarantee for me, but rather about what happens if something breaks and replacement is no longer possible. However, it was just curiosity—I don’t have any facts.

Personally, I think this warranty is meaningless. It is purely a sales argument to demonstrate how confident a company is in its own quality. The chance of actually receiving a direct replacement after 10 years is virtually zero. Instead, there will always be some form of compensation offered.

Wanted to check the specific FAKTUM door for eggs today, but yep – it seems the restock is over. Now I can only find METOD fronts in there.
