Hello everyone!
We are about to make the final decision on our exterior paint color and I would appreciate your inspiration. Ideally with the exact color code in your color system.
We have experimented with various online color visualizers. We like shades in the range of sand / greige / taupe, leaning towards the lighter side.
The front door will be dark gray (iron mica), and the windows are, as usual, white.
I don’t want a completely white facade because then the windows would have too little contrast.
Feel free to share other ideas or suggestions as well; they don’t necessarily have to be along the lines I mentioned. =)

Facing bricks/tiles are naturally more expensive than a plain plaster facade (although you save on the topcoat and possibly the paint, you do need to anchor the insulation), but they are cheaper than real brickwork. It’s not just about materials and cost, but also about surface area usage.
Tiles are probably more suited for urban areas along busy streets.

Other facade options are currently out of the question for us due to cost reasons. Brick slips, tiles, and similar materials would all involve additional costs and would probably have needed to be planned earlier. The boss wants to start soon with the exterior plastering; the scaffolding is already up, and the materials are ready (except for the colored plaster). At the moment, it’s just not possible because of the weather. =D

We are starting work on the facade today. For us, the color will be in the cappuccino range from Caparol.
Using tiles as a facade gives me the impression of a storefront, like a butcher shop or similar.

Using tiles as a facade reminds me of a retail shop. Butcher’s or something like that. I’m not exactly sure how or when he’s planning it, but he has several building projects going on and I assume he doesn’t always have a plasterer on call in case it gets colder for a week. The last time we talked about it, it was really hot outside and he said, “Nothing can be done at these temperatures.” Right now, he’s focusing on the interior work.
Tiles as a facade wouldn’t be for me either. I know it from before, but even then it was quite rare, especially in rural areas.
