Hello everyone!

We are about to make the final decision on our exterior paint color and I would appreciate your inspiration. Ideally with the exact color code in your color system.

We have experimented with various online color visualizers. We like shades in the range of sand / greige / taupe, leaning towards the lighter side.
The front door will be dark gray (iron mica), and the windows are, as usual, white.
I don’t want a completely white facade because then the windows would have too little contrast.

Feel free to share other ideas or suggestions as well; they don’t necessarily have to be along the lines I mentioned. =)

In our area, there is a house painted pink. It’s called "the pink underwear house" because the color really looks like girls’ underwear. Hardly anyone finds it attractive. Still, I wouldn’t want it any other way among the gray façades.

Haha, my first thought at the picture in post #37 was that it just needed a bit more pink to complete the Fürst Pückler look ;-)

Getting tired of a color is not to be underestimated.

I tend to describe shades as “nail polish colors” when they look nice in small doses of a few dozen square centimeters, but become overwhelming on an entire car body.

So, just a few more and then that’s it for now.
I thought there was still a bright blue house somewhere, but somehow I couldn’t find it and the mosquitoes drove me home...

Green single-family house with dark tile roof, skylight, garden and parked car.

Red single-family house with white window frames, flowers on the porch roof and dense hedge.

Yellow house with two white windows, gutter, chimney pipe, wooden fence and garden plants.

By the way, just so there’s no misunderstanding: most houses in my neighborhood are plain white or gray.
What I noticed:
There are quite a few houses with half-hipped roofs here.
And this Mediterranean-style finca design also seems to be very popular here.

Thank you for taking the time to post so many photos in this thread! 😱
Our roof is very similar to the one on the black house. The color would be too bold for me, but it does look good in anthracite.

Are you referring to the gray house? I immediately thought I recognized it from the Ruhr area. It doesn’t bother me but also doesn’t add anything, in my opinion. 🙂

I really like the house in this Mallorca style. However, I’m less fond of the three-color facade. And blue window shutters on top of that?! Often, less is more.
Question for everyone here: which shades work best with white window frames and with anthracite frames?
I generally lean towards pastel colors for the facade.
