Hello everyone!
We are about to make the final decision on our exterior paint color and I would appreciate your inspiration. Ideally with the exact color code in your color system.
We have experimented with various online color visualizers. We like shades in the range of sand / greige / taupe, leaning towards the lighter side.
The front door will be dark gray (iron mica), and the windows are, as usual, white.
I don’t want a completely white facade because then the windows would have too little contrast.
Feel free to share other ideas or suggestions as well; they don’t necessarily have to be along the lines I mentioned. =)

So, I mentioned I would take some photos.
I didn’t climb any ladders, and I skipped the yellow and red houses standing next to each other, which I really wanted to photograph, because there was a garden party happening there, and it felt a bit too intrusive to ask them to move the tables so I could get a clear shot of the facade... 😀
Not all pictures are from the immediate neighborhood, but all are from the region...
One of them has a rather plain color, but I found the plaster so impressive and literally strange that it had to be included as well.

I prefer colored houses over the white-gray ones. But yes, it’s a matter of taste.
I just looked at colored facades online and I can’t get enough of them. There are so many beautiful colors and facades. I would love to come home and be greeted by a nice blue or green. 🙂

If you only see a colorful facade every few weeks and are impressed by it, I argue that with your own house, the novelty can wear off quickly.
In my current neighborhood, there has been a bright yellow house for about 5 years now.
I pass by it every day and also see it daily from my kitchen window.
While it was an eye-catcher at first, it has now just become glaring and no longer fits with the other houses at all.
If it were mine, I would have already drawn the line and repainted it long ago.

How much does it usually cost to have a facade repainted? We paid 8,900 euros last year.

I see it every day from the kitchen window. That’s the nice thing—you can see the houses. I overlook grey-on-grey. I really need a pleasant front garden to actually take a proper look.
In our area, there is a house painted pink. It’s called the "pink underwear house" because the color really looks like girls’ lingerie. Hardly anyone thinks it’s truly beautiful. Still, I wouldn’t want it any other way among the grey façades.
