Hello,

I am about to install standard doors on a Pax cabinet. The hinge instructions roughly say, "First click both parts together, then attach to the door, and finally mount to the interior wall." Until now, I assumed you fix one part to the door, the other to the interior wall, and then hang the door.

I’m quite clumsy and have an unwilling helper, so my question is which method is better.

The hinges are called "Complete 130 Degree."

Thanks and have a nice Sunday

Hello,
the method described in the instructions is probably easier for those with less experience. If the door is not held perfectly straight, which is not easy given its size, clipping it in won’t work. If you still want to try, start with the top hinge and then continue downward.
If possible, give the unwilling helper a kick in the pants.

Thank you

I’ve checked the parts and will assemble them first before fitting them into the frame. It seems to go together smoothly so far—a set of books or my foot under the door... with a now motivated helper, it should work out. I hope so.
