Hello fellow home builders,

we have started constructing a single-family house. The approved building permit / planning permission includes a gas heating system, which we still want to install.

There are two possible scenarios:

1. What happens if the heating system is installed in October 2023, but the house is only inspected and approved in February 2024?

2. What happens if the heating system is installed in January 2024, and the house is inspected and approved in May 2024?

Both options are difficult to plan for. So far, we do not know whether the construction schedule might be delayed.
I haven't found any information on this. Do you have any further details?

Regards,

I believe the discussion would be pointless since we have fundamentally different definitions of the term "Corona scams."

Well, not much is happening there, which I expected. But gladly back to the topic, it really drifted off a lot with Corona; for me, climate is strongly connected to it. The next big thing, so to speak...

Well, what else could come of it? You consider all of this a hoax, but I don’t.
What I see as a "Corona scam" are mask deals where politicians and their relatives filled their pockets. Or test centers that charged money for tests that were never actually conducted. But all the media reported on that, including the Tagesschau.

The nonsense you only read about in Die Welt is, for you, the reason to buy it, and for me, precisely the reason not to. We won’t find any common ground here, even if we debate until the day after tomorrow.

Name another newspaper that exposed COVID-19 fraud schemes besides Die Welt?

A small tip: if you intend to expose something, you don’t put it behind a paywall on purpose. That way it only becomes an article for a specific audience, just telling one bubble what they want to hear.

Okay, there are a few smaller ones like Berliner Zeitung, Cicero, Servus TV, or maybe NZZ. But otherwise? Public broadcasters completely failed, Spiegel and Süddeutsche certainly as well, t-online is just a pure smear sheet. FAZ was very weak. No idea what you mean by quality paper? I don’t think there’s much there.

I do find the uniformity frustrating, yes. Even today, considering that not everything done during the pandemic was right. Much was done “as we went along,” some out of panic, other actions driven by political survival or cronyism. Sorry to the children, teenagers, and everyone else who were restricted by the rules. I still miss that perspective to this day.

Unfortunately, it was already mentioned in the documents that Kati Schmutz found beforehand, but only in the others once the last Yeti on the mountain realized that the situation with the children was a mess….

And of course, 80% don't care about what happens to the 20%… because in the end, everyone only looks out for themselves. That’s why the 20% read their material behind the paywall, and the rest complain about heating systems.

The problem with a publication that always rushes to be first with breaking news is that it often doesn’t take journalistic work seriously and fails to verify sources and facts. Everything that comes their way is published without checking, sometimes even completely fabricated information.
If it turns out to be true later, they were the fastest. But when something is proven false afterward, these outlets rarely bother to correct it or, if necessary, clear or compensate those affected. That is often swept under the rug.
This is not journalism; it is trash. And clickbait. Anyone who believes their main interest is informing the public is naive. Their primary concern is money, just like with all newspapers. The others have simply not completely abandoned their ethics.
