Hello,

in the electrician’s quote for our new single-family house (2 floors, approximately 185 m² (1,991 sq ft)), I noticed an item called "connection for underfloor heating" costing 750€. The thermostats are listed separately in another item. This amount seems quite high to me. Does anyone know what this item typically includes?

Hmm... why too high? What does your scope of work say?

It only says: Connection for underfloor heating (room thermostats not included) and the price

Hm. What does he mean? Your heating system needs electricity—so a cable, an outlet, and a circuit breaker. Charging 750 for that seems a bit steep. If you have questions, help is available. Why not call him on Monday and ask for clarification? Let’s see what he says. Karsten

The "standard heating connection" is listed separately for €139.

Are wiring and connection details also included with the thermostats?
