Hello,

Has anyone here installed vinyl flooring themselves, and if so, how did it go?

We want to install vinyl planks in our house and have already chosen them. I will contact the seller again soon, but I would be happy to read some personal experiences here!

Good evening everyone,

we are now slowly reaching the point of choosing the flooring.
After numerous visits to various stores, we would like to install a click vinyl floor in the house with underfloor heating (except for the toilet and bathroom, which will be tiled).

We really like the Haro Landhausdiele XL 4V Steineiche creme with the dimensions (H x W x L) 9.3 x 23.5 x 203.5 cm (3.7 x 9.3 x 80 inches), item number: 529 900. We actually did not want to spend €35 / m² (about $33 / sq ft). So far, nothing has been available under €41 / m² (about $39 / sq ft). Do you happen to have a good source?

Otherwise, what would you recommend in terms of style? We still want planks, and it’s quite important to us that the plank has a bevel on all sides.

Have a nice evening everyone...

I would recommend a real hardwood floor. Only where oak is actually used does it truly look like oak.

Thank you
Unfortunately, a wooden floor is not an option. We currently have one, and it doesn’t work well with the cat :P

I’ve now received another offer for the Haro country plank flooring at €38.90 / m² (approximately $38.90 / 10.76 sq ft) including free home delivery. That’s getting better.
Let’s see if there’s any room for negotiation.

Has anyone installed a Haro vinyl floor? Is it worth the price?
Maybe I can still find another manufacturer that offers planks with a visible bevel around the edges.
