I was planning to get a Udden kitchen, but I find the stove too basic. I would prefer an induction cooktop and a better oven. According to IKEA, it’s not possible to buy the stove frame separately (why not???). Has anyone tried cutting out a work surface to install a cooktop there?
Also, how stable is the Udden kitchen? At IKEA, the units are screwed to the wall. I can’t do that in my apartment because I’m not allowed to drill into the tiles.
Feeling uncertain and grateful for any advice,
Küchenschabe

It is sturdy, you can configure your electrical appliances yourself, and it’s expandable if you move.

Hello Ikea fans,
I would like to join KüchenSchabe’s question and modify it slightly.
My girlfriend and I are also interested in getting the Udden kitchen.
I am a cook and get to “work my magic” with induction every day. That’s why I would like to replace the stove along with the induction cooktop. What do you think, or has anyone possibly done this already? Is it even possible?
The NUTID HIN4T, for example, seems like a very good option.
Thanks for your answers.
Regards,
Daniel
