Hello fans, I am currently choosing a freezer-refrigerator combo from IKEA, branded Bauknecht. Since this combo will be placed in a large room that combines the kitchen and dining/living area, I am wondering how loud such a device is. I have read various reviews but not specifically about a model from IKEA. Can anyone provide information? Thanks in advance. Regards, Agnes

Hello Agnes,

Freezer-fridge combos nowadays are all very quiet. Only older models or heavily iced-up units are considered "loud." For the IKEA appliances, there are no specifications regarding noise levels, unlike, for example, range hoods.

Hope this helps.

Hello Akinom
I recently installed the Frostig BCF 102/65 myself and can’t complain about the noise. I also have the kitchen and dining area combined – by the way, it’s rated at 37 dB.

Hope this helps
