Hello,
on Thursday, our new kitchen will be delivered to our new apartment.
I have a question about the delivery: What kind of vehicle was used to deliver the kitchen to you? It is quite tight here, and if they come with a 40-ton (44-ton) truck (I know that's exaggerated), it won’t work. When we placed the order, we were told they would come with a 3.5-ton (3.9-ton) vehicle, but I think that might be a bit small.

Why wouldn’t a 3.5-ton (3.5 t) vehicle be enough?

The kitchen still hasn’t been installed yet... 😉

That should not be your concern.
The delivery company has contracts in place with IKEA.
If you specify all the "complications" when placing your order (!!), they will have to figure out how to get the furniture to you...

There are people who live in pedestrian zones, etc., and still want to shop at IKEA... 😉
