Hello,
I am currently in the middle of planning my kitchen. A recent opening in our kitchen has created new layout possibilities for the new IKEA kitchen. I am planning a U-shaped layout with a cross cabinet (oh, how to best describe that). The kitchen will not have any overhead cabinets. So far in the plan, I have three corners… I would like to make two of these blind corners! And equip one with an ME 188 or 189.
How should I plan for the blind corners? And how can I best explain this to the consultant at the IKEA store?

How should I plan for blind corners? The easiest way is to place a cabinet in the corner. Close the gap with filler panels.
And how can I best explain this to the advisor in the Ikea store? Just tell them that this is how you want it.
I found the item in ME189 (or rather the Faktum version) rather inconvenient.
