Hello,
we have purchased a building plot with a slight slope. The plot measures 23x23 meters (75x75 feet) and has a height difference of 3 meters (10 feet) from the street to the boundary point.
We do not want a basement but a ground-level terrace instead.
Now we are considering having living spaces in the lower level.
The idea would be to have the living room/kitchen, etc. downstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor.
Has anyone implemented this and can share their experience, possibly with pictures?

That may be true. But I’m amazed how often I read here from some crank that when the price is nearly double one hundred and fifty gold coins per square meter, there are six hundred applicants for forty plots. I see it the same way. Bad Mergentheim isn’t exactly the ugliest place, and “properly out of the way” means something different. So I consider the relaxed purchase of a plot to be quite fortunate.

As mentioned, a basement was not desired, so the idea was to have the living room in the lower ground floor.
That means a single-story building.Just to understand, what do you mean by single-story in this situation? Something like a detached single-family house with sloping ceilings on the upper floor, but partially built into a hillside on one side? I rather doubt it 😉WilderSueden schrieb:

Oh, now that you mention it: I wonder if the similarity in names between the two original posters is just a coincidence? https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundrissplanung-efh-150qm-tipps-zur-verbesserung.29969/

We definitely do not want sloping ceilings. From the street, it should look like a bungalow. Sleeping areas on the ground floor, living areas in the basement.

It is a common German first/last name. In my case, it is the last name.
And the year of birth is different as well.
