Hello,

please help me. For days, I have been drawing various layouts, thinking I found a solution, only to discard it again. This is driving me crazy.

I want built-in walk-in showers in both bathrooms, completely without doors.
In the master bathroom, a small bathtub is planned, as well as a comfortably sized walk-in shower and, if possible, a double sink.

You will find the architect’s proposal attached.
I find the shower partition in the children’s bathroom not long enough, but it seems it cannot be made longer because of the window.

In the master bathroom, the toilet is too close to the shower entrance. Perhaps the shower wall could be shortened.

Do you have any ideas?
The two drawings are mine.
Windows are not fixed and can be changed freely.

The drawing with the washing machine + dryer is the children’s bathroom.

Thanks in advance!

I would rather skip the double vanity in the master bathroom than do without a built-in shower enclosure. I would keep the toilet as it is in the first photo and then install a shower screen 90cm (35 inches) from it. Plan this wall to be 1.50m (5 feet) long going upwards and include a 70cm (28 inches) wide entrance to the shower. This way, the sink area will have 1.50m (5 feet) of space, and you'll have a built-in L-shaped layout.

Best regards,
Sabine

Are you referring to the architect’s drawing?

Thanks for the input. You’ve given me a new idea. I’ll do some drawings later. Let’s see if it’s an improvement or a setback. I’ll post it here then.

One quick question: what is the ideal length for the side entrance of the shower? About 70cm (28 inches)? Or more or less?

What do you think? I changed the wall and gave the bathtub to the kids. Does it look awkward or fitting?

The shower enclosure in both bathrooms is 1.6 m (5.2 ft), and the shower entrance is 70 cm (28 inches). The showers are planned to be 1.2 m (4 feet) wide. That should work, right?
