ᐅ Which holes are essential to consider when assembling the Pax system?

Hello everyone, I am currently assembling my Pax wardrobe and have some questions about the holes I need to pay attention to during the build. Specifically: Which holes are absolutely essential to ensure all modules can be properly installed later? Are there any holes that must not be covered or ignored because they are needed for attaching shelves, drawers, or rails? I definitely want to avoid having to take everything apart again later because I covered or missed a necessary opening somewhere. It would be great if you could share your experience about which holes should definitely be considered during the assembly of the Pax and what to watch out for. Thanks in advance!

Oh yes, the Pax can handle almost anything! 😊 I specifically bought magnetic push pins to test the positions of the shelves on the holes before fixing everything in place. It worked great and was also fun to explore the system this way! Enjoy building! 😊

How cool, thanks for the practical tips! One last question from me: Are there any specific holes that I should leave unused not for accessories but for stability or safety reasons? For example, I’m unsure whether some holes are also used for securing to walls or for connecting multiple Pax wardrobes.

Very good question! Some holes on the back panel or sides are actually meant for wall mounting and connecting multiple Pax units. These are usually larger or specifically positioned. They must be kept clear for stability. Missing a wall anchor can make the wardrobe unstable and, in the worst case, cause it to tip over. Therefore, be sure to keep the designated drill holes free and attach the mounting brackets correctly.

This is very important! At first, I also had concerns and didn’t use the holes for wall mounting. After talking with friends and doing some quick research, I identified the right spots and secured the cabinet. This provides a great sense of safety, especially when there are small children in the house. It’s better to check and screw it in one more time.

In short: The mounting holes on the back panel and sides provide stability. They are essential, even if there are no interior components.

Thank you for this important reminder! Safety aspects are often underestimated. I will make sure to leave these holes free and properly secure the cabinet. Are there any other tips to help me avoid unnecessary mistakes during the final assembly, especially regarding the holes and their use?
