Hello everyone, I am currently assembling my Pax wardrobe and have some questions about the holes I need to pay attention to during the build. Specifically: Which holes are absolutely essential to ensure all modules can be properly installed later? Are there any holes that must not be covered or ignored because they are needed for attaching shelves, drawers, or rails? I definitely want to avoid having to take everything apart again later because I covered or missed a necessary opening somewhere. It would be great if you could share your experience about which holes should definitely be considered during the assembly of the Pax and what to watch out for. Thanks in advance!
My tip: Always follow the instructions step by step and don’t cover any holes until you’re sure you won’t need them anymore. When combining multiple cabinets, note all fastening points and avoid sticking anything down spontaneously. If you want to try out a small adjustment, use temporary markings. This way, all possible fastening options remain open, and you can easily expand the setup later 😇
In conclusion, here is a summary of what I’ve learned: The vertical rows of holes for shelves, drawers, and accessories are especially important and must remain uncovered. For the model with sliding doors, holes for the guide rails on the floor and at the top must also be kept clear. The hole spacing is 32 mm (1.26 inches), which allows for flexible installation. The holes on the back panel and sides for wall mounting are essential for stability and safety. Thanks to everyone for the great support! If anyone wants to add any important points, feel free to share.
