Hello everyone, I am currently assembling my Pax wardrobe and have some questions about the holes I need to pay attention to during the build. Specifically: Which holes are absolutely essential to ensure all modules can be properly installed later? Are there any holes that must not be covered or ignored because they are needed for attaching shelves, drawers, or rails? I definitely want to avoid having to take everything apart again later because I covered or missed a necessary opening somewhere. It would be great if you could share your experience about which holes should definitely be considered during the assembly of the Pax and what to watch out for. Thanks in advance!

Also, try experimenting with different shelf heights—it’s great how flexible the Pax system becomes because of that! Good luck, you can do it! ?

I was a bit too relaxed about it at the beginning and had to make changes later. But it really becomes intuitive over time!
Thank you for the encouraging words and the advice. Could you please explain in more detail how the hole spacing on the side panels is usually arranged? Are they standardized by centimeters, millimeters, or other measurements? I’m asking because I’d like to plan in advance how to arrange shelves or small parts effectively and whether I can still make adjustments during assembly.
The hole spacing is typically arranged in 32mm (1 1/4 inches) increments. This system is standard in the industry for shelving and cabinet systems because it facilitates modular adjustments. The holes themselves have a diameter of about 5mm (0.2 inches), suitable for shelf support pins. This grid allows flexible positioning of shelves, drawers, or hanging elements, as long as the rows of holes are not covered.
Great, 32mm (1.26 inches) spacing is truly the classic! 😄 This way, you can easily adjust and modify your Pax modules. Tip: If you're unsure, make a small sketch before final assembly showing where you want to place your shelves. This helps avoid surprises. And hey, don’t stress—even if you make a mistake, the Pax is quite forgiving!
