I bought an IKEA kitchen.

While assembling my Faktum horizontal wall cabinets, 70cm (28 inches) and 92cm (36 inches), I noticed that a drilling template is needed to attach the doors or flaps.

Either the drilling template was not included, or I accidentally threw it away.

Now I don’t know what to do.

I couldn’t find the template online. IKEA doesn’t offer phone support, only an automated system. IKEA is about 50km (31 miles) away from me, and I currently don’t have a car.

Any tips or ideas?

Maybe someone here still has the template?

Thanks, Marion

Hello!

Yesterday, I faced the problem of not having a drilling template because we brought the wall cabinet without the front from the bargain bin.
I searched for the name online and ended up here.
If more people need this drilling template, here is the solution:

1) Download the assembly manual for the wall cabinets.
2) The template is shown in the parts list (page 7 here).
3) Zoom in on the PDF to 144% and adjust the page view so the template is fully visible (rotate the page if needed).
4) Then print the "current view" and to be safe, compare the printout with the actual parts, as print results may vary between printers.
5) Cut out the template. DONE!!

The solution seemed almost too simple but worked perfectly, and now the front is hanging in the right place.
Have fun building!

PS: By the way, while tidying up today, I found EXACTLY THIS template in a messy box – didn’t expect that. But now my solution is beyond any doubt.
