Hello,

I recently bought an IKEA kitchen, and my existing 45cm (18 inches) fully integrated dishwasher is supposed to fit into it. So, I purchased a matching front panel and the Behjälplig fitting from IKEA. Unfortunately, I am having trouble installing the sliding hinge.
I followed the instructions completely, and everything seemed to fit—the front panel is attached to the dishwasher. But as soon as I try to open the dishwasher door, the door starts rubbing against the sliding hinge at about half-open. The further I open the door, the worse it gets.
This surely can’t be intended, right? Does anyone have any idea what I might have done wrong?

Could you take a few pictures to clarify? I have also used Behjälplig and had no problems.
Best regards

Here is a photo of the issue:

I have marked the relevant spot.

Besides the scratching noises and visible material wear, it is especially problematic that the door is difficult to close again when fully open.

Hello,
I looked at your picture. For me, there is at least half a centimeter (0.2 inches) of space in between.
You attached or screwed the two "boards" with the guide onto the door, right?
And the front, where the aluminum rails are then mounted, is inserted from above into the guide, correct?
As I said, I have plenty of clearance.

Exactly, you can see the two boards here:

The black part is the dishwasher door, and I attached the two gray boards to it. I inserted the front panel into the guide from above and then snapped it into the two round holders at the bottom. It was all done exactly according to the instructions. When closed, everything fits perfectly; the front panel sits exactly where it should.

It looks the same for me as in the picture, and the gap stays the same no matter how far the door is opened.
I suspect that something is incorrectly installed at the bottom.
