Hello,
after many years, a hinge for our Faktum corner cabinet has stopped working. Now I can’t find a replacement part anywhere. I don’t even know the part number. I also wasn’t able to find anything through IKEA’s spare parts service online.
Can anyone help?
Is it still possible to get such a replacement part, or is there another way to manage?
Thank you very much and best regards
raikat

Hello,
Base cabinet or wall cabinet?
If base cabinet, which type of hinge?
Where exactly is the hinge broken?
Which manufacturer is indicated on the hinge?

Hello IKEA expert,
this is a base cabinet. It says Hettich Germany on it.
This kind of part has a spring inside, and it is broken.

Then the cabinet is probably from the last century. Is the hinge clipped onto the mounting plate or screwed on?
The 90 x 90 cm (35 x 35 inches) corner cabinet with the folding door, or the straight 120 cm (47 inches) corner cabinet?

That probably dates back to the last century....

It should be the 90 x 90cm (35 x 35 inches) model with the folding door. And the hinges are screwed on.

Do you think I could simply ask Hettich? Or send an email directly to IKEA?

There are two different hinges: the one attached to the cabinet carcass and the one connecting the two doors.
I’m not sure what might have been changed over the years. A photo would be helpful (upload it to the photo gallery; click top right).
Hettich and IKEA will probably not be helpful without more detailed information.
