Hello everyone,
I bought a Pax wardrobe with hinged doors over the weekend. I planned it online, picked it up at the store, and started assembling it. Once the carcasses were in place and I began installing the interior fittings and doors, I unfortunately noticed a conflict between the Komplement divider with its four Komplement drawers and the door hinge. In other words, there is so little clearance between them that the bottom drawer rubs against the hinge. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and can offer advice?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards

Hello,
I had the same problem. I planned everything in the planner, bought all the parts, and was surprised during assembly. Since having a basket at the bottom was not an option for me, I decided to mill a groove into the drawer side. I routed the side panel where the hinge is attached from the front to about 8cm (3 inches) from the back edge, approximately 2.5cm (1 inch) wide and about 0.6cm (0.25 inch) deep (about half the board thickness). Then I made a recess in the front panel as well, and now I have a drawer at the bottom. Visually, the open groove in the chipboard doesn’t bother me because that side is covered by the door, so it’s not visible, and the recess in the front panel is not noticeable either because it is filled by the hinge. I am satisfied with this solution now.
Still, this feels like a shortcoming from IKEA, first because the drawer can be planned in the planner, and even more so because I consider it a real design flaw that it’s not possible to have a drawer at the bottom. IKEA should come up with a solution, for example by offering drawers with the appropriate grooves.

Nice but really expensive. Hettich also offers suitable ones - I don’t have the article number right now though.Hi!
We are currently facing the same problem....
Has the Hettich article number come up in the meantime?
