Hello,
I only see Tandem mentioned, not Tandembox plus. The Tandembox plus is no longer available. It was replaced by the Tandembox Antaro. Maximera is similar to the Tandembox Antaro but, unlike the RATIONELL drawers, has a completely different box height.
The cabinet slides, as with the RATIONELL, have a nominal length of 530 mm (21 inches), which does not exist as a Blum standard. The holes for mounting the slides are also in different positions.
Tip-On does not work with the BLUMOTION slides, and for the new Tip-On with soft-close, special slides are also required. Until now, this was only available for the Legrabox; according to Blum’s website, it will soon be available for the Tandembox as well.
For Maximera, there are only the UTRUSTA push-to-open fittings or the electric Blum Servodrives. I believe Robiffm has used the UTRUSTA push-to-open fittings with drawers, and that is supposed to work.

IKEA-Experte31 Jul 2016 23:27I believe I once successfully installed a Maximera front bracket into a Tandembox frame, but I am no longer sure about that.
I recently saw the Tandembox Antaro with TIP-ON BLUMOTION on a dealer’s website. Make sure you don’t buy the older TIP-ON rails.

IKEA-Experte1 Aug 2016 15:52They are not available pre-made in any width. You need to get the bottom and back panel according to the specified measurements from the building materials store or timber supplier.
There are providers who will assemble the drawers completely for you, but that is very expensive.

I don’t think you want these rails. There is no information yet about Tipp-On BLUMOTION for the Tandembox in the Blum catalog. It’s best to ask Blum directly about exactly what you need for this.

Fabs_928415 Aug 2016 21:38Good evening,
I have already spent several evenings and nights searching for a suitable tip-on system for our prospective Ikea kitchen.
Since Lux seems to be quite an expert in this field and others here are also experimenting a lot, I hope to get answers to my questions.
If I understand correctly, there are two Blum systems with tip-on Blumotion for a front drawer:
1) Tandembox Antaro tip-on Blumotion
2) Legrabox tip-on Blumotion (more expensive, with more options to adjust the position precisely).
Because of the price, I have some questions:
- What is the maximum length allowed for the cabinet rail? Is the length of the cabinet rail also the nominal length?
- Which heights (top of floor to top of railing) of the Tandembox (B = 16 cm (6.3 inches); C = 19.6 cm (7.7 inches); and D = 22.8 cm (9 inches)) correspond to the three heights from Ikea (high = 21.2 cm (8.3 inches); medium = 14.4 cm (5.7 inches); low = 7.8 cm (3.1 inches))? Or put differently: Can I combine these Tandembox Antaro front drawers with Ikea’s internal drawers?
Thanks for your input (at least I hope so )
Fabian
