In practice, the load limit is about 15 kg (33 lbs), as this is the capacity of the drawer slides. Exceeding this weight may cause wear.

What should also be considered with Hemnes: wood is susceptible to moisture. If you have heavy kitchen utensils in the drawers and the humidity is high, the material can warp and its load-bearing capacity will be affected.

Just as an addition: IKEA does not provide any written information on the maximum load capacity for Hemnes. Based on my experience, 12-15 kg (26-33 lbs) is a good guideline. Avoid pulling the drawers out completely when they are fully loaded to prevent damage.
