Hello everyone,
we are in the process of building a single-family house with a basement suitable for living. This is the design we have come up with. I would like to hear from you if you see any possibilities for improvements.
On the ground floor, there is a side entrance door on the right. The carport will be located there.
In the basement living area, the children's rooms face south. From there, it should be possible to access the terrace and the garden.
I look forward to your tips and suggestions!

Do you have a visual example from a house builder for me? Google is your friend.
That just goes to show: it seems that for some groups of people, only luxury urban villas are available — all other house types, roof styles, and knee walls are no longer accessible or have become invisible.
Grab your family and drive through residential areas built after 2010.
This is about your house. To me, this "joke" is happening a bit too often. Everything is slowly being made ridiculous.

Grab your family and drive through residential areas built after 2010 (after 2010) to see for yourself. Very funny... there are dozens of variations of angled bungalows with pitched roofs! Before we go through 10 pages of different ideas again, I thought if Katja could just show an example right away (like someone did yesterday with the exact house and provider name), everything would move faster!
I’m also not saying "just Google mini..." because there are also dozens of variations!

Although I often get criticized, I think the house built into the slope with the balcony and the carport on the opposite side, plus the ground floor, basement, and first floor (or ground floor, depending on the viewpoint), is actually quite reasonable. Personally, I would skip the walk-in closet because the bedroom feels a bit cramped to me, and my wife can see me getting dressed while I can see her undressing, which can be quite interesting. Children or guests are one level and a concrete ceiling below. The balcony has the potential to be converted into a conservatory or sunroom when there is money available again. I don’t see anything that I would bump into doors. I am referring to the second design, not the very first one. K.
