Hello everyone,
we are in the process of building a single-family house with a basement suitable for living. This is the design we have come up with. I would like to hear from you if you see any possibilities for improvements.
On the ground floor, there is a side entrance door on the right. The carport will be located there.
In the basement living area, the children's rooms face south. From there, it should be possible to access the terrace and the garden.
I look forward to your tips and suggestions!

@j.bautsch .. that probably won’t help much, because it causes issues with the hand basin.
However, the bathroom could be arranged more cleverly to install a toilet somewhat separated from the bathroom, accessible from both the bathroom (with a sliding door) and the hallway. You would have to give up the T-layout, but it would gain a coat area in the hallway.

This one here... I actually find this one among the least successful of them all. When you open the door to the kitchen, you can no longer go upstairs, or you end up with the stairs right in front of you when coming down – awkward! That would be a serious design flaw. Also, given the already limited space, the hallway here is enormous.
To at least eliminate these planning errors, I would move the sleeping area and shift the staircase to the other side. The front door layout would need to be mirrored accordingly. The upper floor would have to be redesigned, which I’m less worried about. It could look similar to #234, which I’d actually prefer for the kids anyway (both rooms facing south).
Or do you absolutely need the covered corner space for smokers in the garden? They would then have to move to the other side in front of the door – which I think would fit well.
Or you skip the covered corner and allow yourself a bit more bedroom space.

Bedroom next to the kitchen. Oh man. When the dishwasher is running, you can hear everything. It's the same wall. Oh Franky... You could swap the bedroom and bathroom for more quiet.
