Hello IKEA friends,

I am currently in the process of building my kitchen. Previously, my landlord provided a built-in kitchen, but now in my new apartment I basically have nothing. So I am installing a kitchen myself. Of course, IKEA.

Now I have a Faktum sink base cabinet, a sink, and traps/drain. I am wondering where to connect the washing machine and dishwasher.
For the water supply, I only have two cold water connections. That’s still manageable: one for the faucet and one for the washing machine. But now I am stuck. To avoid calling a plumber, I found this mixer faucet that has a dishwasher connection. That makes sense so far.

But how do I connect all the hoses to the sink’s wastewater system?
I have already assembled many IKEA furniture pieces and usually manage without instructions. Even when I look at the manuals, everything is very clear and straightforward. But this time, I am stuck.

How did you handle this?

Best regards, Poulson

Ok. I have now understood this and successfully connected the "washing machine." A first test is scheduled for today or tomorrow to check if everything is watertight.

The dishwasher still needs to be delivered. ops:
