Hello everyone,

We have a Faktum kitchen cabinet set that we are remodeling due to a move.

Now we have a small problem again. We mounted a wall cabinet on top of a tall cabinet, and below, the kitchen run continues normally with base cabinets. So far, everything fits together.

However, the side panel of the tall cabinet is visible because no cover panel was installed there. It looks quite unattractive since the white color does not match the ivory front.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to cover or conceal the side panel?

Thank you very much in advance for your replies.

Best regards,
F-W

Attach one side of the top panel, or will the tall cabinet no longer be movable?

Thanks for the quick response!

Unfortunately, the cabinets are already fixed in place and cannot be removed. Also, there is no room left for a countertop.
We are looking for an alternative.

By the way, is the ivory-colored lacquer available for the STAT fronts at Ikea?

Best regards

You can also dismantle a small sample of the wall and take it to a specialist paint store—they should be able to measure the color tone and mix the paint accordingly.

Wouldn't it be possible to cut a cover panel so that it only covers the area between the upper and lower cabinet?
