Hello,
does anyone possibly have patio doors that open outward?
Some time ago, we were advised against it. But maybe someone has experience with them?

By the way, our door also opens towards the cooktop – I don’t really see why that should be a problem. .You can’t leave the door open while you’re cooking. You would have to keep opening and closing it from time to time, which some might find a bit annoying.

Well, directly in front of it the door doesn’t slam either – you can still stand there fine.
But okay, everyone has to judge for themselves. I just wanted to say that it doesn’t necessarily have to be an immediate nuisance.

I’m not familiar with Steffi’s kitchen plans, but she does have some thoughts — the island probably won’t be such an issue....
For your kitchen: can the right side also be opened? Maybe the handle would be better placed there, so you could quickly grab some parsley from outside while standing in front of the stove.

I suspect if it were that bad, more people would have noticed.
@Yvonne: No, it’s a fixed panel. Unfortunately, the parsley is still from the herb section – emphasis on still!
