ᐅ Replacing IKEA PAX Sliding Doors with Smoke Glass Panels

Hello dear IKEA fans,
I have two Pax wardrobes (each 1 meter [3.3 feet] wide and about 10 years old) with folding doors standing next to each other, and I want to replace these doors with sliding doors featuring smoked glass. IKEA Waltersdorf told me this is not possible and that the doors are not sold separately. Can anyone confirm otherwise and help modify the two doors?

If the carcasses have the same dimensions as the new ones and the guide rails for the folding doors are just screwed on, I don’t see where the problem could be.
Could there have been a misunderstanding? Sliding doors are not sold individually, but you need a complete pair anyway. For me, the statement that there are no single sliding doors does not make sense in any context.

The only thing that comes to mind is that the height doesn’t fit. But they also come in 201 cm (6 ft 7 in). Why shouldn’t it work?
Please write down the dimensions of your cabinet here. Let’s see if anything else might not fit. Maybe also include a picture just to be safe.
