ᐅ Question about the dimensions of the IKEA PAX LYNGDAL system

Hello Ikea FANS,

I am installing a shelving system into a niche in our house and mounting the Lyngdal sliding door in front of it. Last week, I bought the sliding door (for the 236cm (7 ft 9 in) tall Pax wardrobe), but forgot to measure the heights for the rails.

I need the exact measurements of the distance from the top edge of the Pax base (for mounting the bottom rail) to the top edge of the Pax cabinet (for mounting the top rail). It would be great if someone could measure this with a tape measure.

Or is it this simple: Pax base height 7cm (3 inches), total Pax height 236cm (7 ft 9 in), so the height difference between the top and bottom rails is 229cm (7 ft 6 in)?

I just measured mine and came up with 227.7 cm (7 ft 5.7 in)...

I also bought a Pax sliding door wardrobe. Since my ceiling height is unfortunately not sufficient, I would like to shorten the wardrobe a bit. For this, I need your help.
Could someone measure how far the sliding doors are from the floor at the bottom and whether they align with the top of the wardrobe or sit higher? Thanks in advance!
