ᐅ Issues with Built-in Dishwashers

Good evening everyone!

Last week, I finally treated myself to a new kitchen—it was about time!
So... off to IKEA, where I bought the Metod system in a U-shape. I purchased the appliances from a local specialist retailer.

But!!!! Now my problem: The fully integrated Bosch dishwasher was supposed to be placed between the freestanding fridge-freezer and the Metod sink cabinet.
Since I also have the matching front for the dishwasher along with the included installation kit here... my question is...

The installation kit has two "hinges" at the bottom that are attached to the adjacent cabinets on the left and right sides using a drilling template.

Unfortunately, I only have a cabinet on the right side next to the dishwasher!

Does IKEA offer a solution for this? For example, a side panel?

you need a side panel to support the countertop. There is no ready-made solution for this. You will have to make the side panel yourself, for example from the countertop material or a cover panel.

Well... first of all, thanks for the tip! What worries me about the installation instructions for the front mounting kit... it looks like I have to drill through the dishwasher door from the inside to attach these two dark mounting parts... where the sliding rails will later snap into place???

No, you don’t need to drill through the door. Please provide a link to the installation manual and the page with the illustration.

The instructions assume that the dishwasher door already has holes for mounting. The nail is only used to mark the position of the holes on the two parts, so that holes can be drilled there afterwards.
