Hello!

Is it possible to integrate a Rengöra dishwasher into the new Knoxhult series?

The "display kitchens" always have only a stove, but no dishwasher.

Well, a 3-unit Knoxhult set including the sink, faucet, and wall cabinets costs 168€ (about 180 USD). I would like to install a dishwasher next to it...
If I put together a similar setup with Metod, it easily comes to 300€ (about 320 USD).

What the Ikea expert calculated refers to installing the dishwasher in the middle of the Knoxhult kitchen run.
If you place the dishwasher only at the end, you only need a new countertop, a front panel, a toe kick, and a support panel.

The linked kitchen cannot be considered a "3-unit" setup. The row is only 120 cm (47 inches) wide, and there is no possibility to install a built-in oven or integrate a cooktop into the countertop. If a freestanding stove is acceptable, you can also place a freestanding dishwasher next to a single base cabinet with a sink.

You are absolutely right, of course. It won’t be that easy for us. I was at our local Ikea earlier, and they still don’t know much about the Knoxhult since it will only be available starting September 1st. However, they expect it to be an "outdoor kitchen," so we will probably have to put together a Metod kitchen and pay around 400 euros (about 430 USD). But that way, everything will fit and the quality will be quite good! We prefer not to buy a cheap kitchen with such a thin countertop and then have to cut and modify it ourselves. Thanks for the advice!

Do they mean the terrible SUNNERSTA when they say garden kitchen?
Before you make a regular purchase, definitely check the bargain corner to see if there are any suitable parts available. With METOD, you can also move and add parts even ten years later. This way, you save some money in the long run.

Maybe not quite like an outdoor kitchen, haha. I think she just meant that the new Knoxhult won’t be of very high quality. Even looking at the pictures, you can tell that this line stands out because of thinner wooden boards. In our case, the Metod will actually be the best solution. Also, based on your advice, I checked the bargain section, but there was nothing there this time. We will have another look when we get the chance.
