I would also be careful to ensure the proportions are correct. For example, with a friend of mine, it did not work out well, and the rooms feel very uncomfortable due to the height-to-width ratios.

A silly question: how can the windows have a clear height of 335 cm (132 inches) when the room only has a clear height of 260 cm (102 inches)? I don’t quite understand...

Please share the room design including the window details. It doesn’t look excessively high...

I guess it's a typo, 235, it should be the 25cm (10 inches) lintel.

We are currently planning the following:

Bungalow approximately 145 sqm (1,560 sq ft) + 75 sqm (810 sq ft) granny flat
Living and dining area 50 sqm (540 sq ft), open up to the ridge (gable roof)

The other rooms: bedroom 15 sqm (160 sq ft), children's room 14 sqm (150 sq ft), bathroom 7 sqm (75 sq ft), utility room 15 sqm (160 sq ft), entrance 13 sqm (140 sq ft). All should have a ceiling height of about 265 cm (8 ft 8 in). Interior doors approximately 98 cm by 211 cm (39 in by 83 in).

Do you think the proportions are well balanced?

The windows are 235 cm (92.5 inches) high. So far, I only have the preliminary draft, so the window height measurements are not yet final...
