Hello everyone,
What ceiling height do you consider practical? Right now, it is planned at 2.45 meters (8 feet). Would you go higher, or do you think this height is fine?
Maybe it can still be adjusted.
Thanks and regards

On the ground floor, we have a ceiling height of 2.65 m (8 ft 8 in) and the living room is about 40 m² (430 sq ft). I find that very suitable. Recently, we visited a neighbor who just built a new house. His ceiling height is only 2.45 m (8 ft) and the living room is about the same size. The lower height was noticeable to me right away and felt a bit a bit confining. However, the room was still empty – with furniture, it might feel different.
In smaller rooms, I think 2.45 m (8 ft) is perfectly sufficient. For rooms of 40 m² (430 sq ft) or more, I would prefer something taller. That’s why we have 2.65 m (8 ft 8 in) on the ground floor and 2.45 m (8 ft) on the upper floor, where the rooms are smaller.

The next height would be 272.5cm (107 inches).... do you think that would be too high and not look right? Or feel strange when standing in the room? That definitely looks good. We have 270cm (106 inches) and it looks just right, definitely not too high. Our living room including kitchen is 61 square meters (657 square feet).
