Hello everyone,

What ceiling height do you consider practical? Right now, it is planned at 2.45 meters (8 feet). Would you go higher, or do you think this height is fine?

Maybe it can still be adjusted.

Thanks and regards

As high as possible and as high as you feel comfortable with—there is no requirement...

I find it hard to assess this without having seen it in advance.

Best regards

Our doors are full height up to the ceiling, which looks good.

I have come across 3m (10 feet) living room heights quite often, but I think it doesn’t feel as cozy anymore.

In our old building, the ceilings are 3 m (10 feet) high. I really like that, and it allows for a chandelier or a loft bed. In the new build, the cost-benefit analysis only justified 2.55 m (8 feet 4 inches). Well, that’s how it goes—there are worse fates, and at least it saves a few steps to the upper floor (which adds some quality of life :rolleyes ...

Yuck, chandeliers.
We have our attic ridge in the upper floor open up to 3.80m (12.5 feet) for the loft bed; with the exposed beams, it still feels spacious despite the knee wall being 90cm (35 inches) high. But for a living room, it wouldn’t be my choice.

Could you please upload a picture of that for me?
