I hope someone can help me. I have now installed the new kitchen completely, but I’m unsure about how to mount the dishwasher front. It’s the Metod system with the Veddinge front in gray, and the dishwasher is a Bosch, model SMI 68 L 05 EU/41.
At IKEA, I was sold the mounting kit Ersättare no. 002.506.64. Since I actually have continuous doors along the bottom, I’m wondering if the front really needs to be split at the top as shown in the IKEA instructions. I understand that the front has to be segmented at the bottom, but this time I can’t make sense of the manual.
Does anyone have a foolproof guide for me, and does anyone know if the IKEA mounting kit is actually the right one? Especially with Bosch/Siemens appliances, it can get quite complicated.

you can also use just a 20cm (8 inches) front and a 60cm (24 inches) front that you cut to the appropriate length. You need to measure whether the shortened front is still large enough to use the lower bracket. When assembling, you should follow both instructions. If the lower bracket no longer fits the front, you will need to be creative.
