So, do you have any updates on whether there will be a completely new kitchen system?!

Nordkäppchen7 Nov 2013 12:09Hi,
the following is stated, among other things, in the warranty terms of the Faktum kitchen:
What will be done to resolve the issue?
IKEA inspects the product to determine whether it is covered under warranty. If the claim is valid, the following applies:
IKEA will have the defective product repaired or replaced with the same or a comparable product. IKEA covers the costs for repair, replacement parts, as well as labor and travel expenses for the technician. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA. If the product is no longer available from IKEA, a replacement product of comparable quality and price will be offered. If a comparable product is not or no longer available in IKEA’s range, IKEA is entitled to provide an appropriate monetary compensation for the defect, the amount of which will be determined at IKEA’s discretion.
Best regards

France around February.
"Cette gamme sera proposée à la vente aux alentours du mois de février. Courant décembre, les espaces de démonstration IKEA sera progressivement modifiés pour laisser la place à des ambiances IKEA METOD. Vous pourrez donc juger de la qualité de ces produits avant la fin de l’année."

Herr rossi18 Mar 2014 20:14Hello everyone,
Metod cabinets come in only standard sizes. The widths are 20/40/60/80 cm (8/16/24/32 inches) for regular base cabinets and wall cabinets. The heights for base cabinets are 60 and 80 cm (24 and 32 inches). For the wall cabinets, the heights are 60, 80, and 100 cm (24, 32, and 39 inches). The cabinets are 10 mm (0.4 inches) shallower, but due to the groove design, the internal depth is reduced by 3 mm (0.12 inches).
Other differences besides the dimensions include, for example, better and cleaner (sounds strange) workmanship (quality), 4 rows of holes for base cabinets and 3 rows for wall cabinets. The edging must be sealed to be vapor-proof. There is a concealed edge on the back, and the back panel is nailed into the groove, which provides increased stability. For the wall cabinets, there is the traditional fastening method and a rail system.
