Hello,
I would like to install plastic floor glides under the Pax wardrobes, as I need to move one of the wardrobes once a year (underfloor heating).
Does anyone have experience with this?

IKEA-Experte15 Nov 2015 17:32One roll weighs 40 kg (88 lbs), 12 rolls weigh 480 kg (1,058 lbs). The rolls should be able to handle it, but you’re probably more concerned about the connection to the side panels. Using butt Euro screws would be beneficial. Maybe there are also rolls with a different type of fastener. Or you could slide something under the side panels once the cabinet is back against the wall. Hmm, but that would stick out so you could pull it out again. So, not such a great idea.

The rollers should be strong enough, but you’re probably more concerned about the connection to the side panels. Using flush Euro screws would be advantageous. Maybe there are rollers with a different type of fastening available. Or once the wardrobe is back against the wall, you could slide something underneath the side panels. Then I can take it to my trusted carpenter, maybe they’ll have an idea...
