ᐅ Installing floor glides for IKEA PAX wardrobe

That’s a great idea, but can this roller (especially on the particle board of the Pax wardrobe) support a fully loaded wardrobe?

One roll weighs 40 kg (88 lbs), 12 rolls weigh 480 kg (1,058 lbs). The rolls should be able to handle it, but you’re probably more concerned about the connection to the side panels. Using butt Euro screws would be beneficial. Maybe there are also rolls with a different type of fastener. Or you could slide something under the side panels once the cabinet is back against the wall. Hmm, but that would stick out so you could pull it out again. So, not such a great idea.

Not really... Does anyone have a “bottom view” of a Pax wardrobe? Then I can take it to my trusted carpenter, maybe they’ll have an idea...
